What is this?

Bodacious Babes of Summer SWEET 16th Annual Beach* Bash & BBQ
"Enjoy Your Summer Before It's Gone!"
Colorado Alliance of Illustrators (CAI), creative pros and students welcome (legal age!), and of course friends, family and neighbors

What: THE notorious Summer fete: fascinating people, fun, food, humor, drinks, music, hooping, dancing, drawing, juggling, creative anything, led's and maybe even fire dancing!
When: Saturday, August 21, 2010, 7 pm
Where: 2256 S Dover Way, Lakewood, CO 80227

Who: Cool creatives, friends, colleagues, family & neighbors (the legal adult crowd), musicians, dancers, performers, creative-types, motorcycles, sports cars, etc. -- all welcome!
Theme: SWEET16Creative interpretation: dress, drinks & dippables. Bring / show / tell / perform your talent -- it's interactive entertainment! House beverage is "Sangritini" (yum!). Many tasty treats & grill provided (Mother Nature willing)
Etc.: Please bring a drinkable, grillable, or munchie to share (especially drinkables!) (*Beach is a baby pool. Considerate smoking outside please -- the gardens are organic and edible)
This year we're going for mostly vegetarian, local, & organic, if possible. Bring stuff from your garden :)

Past BB parties have included:
Belly dance, hoop dancing (with lessons too!), zills, swords, maracas, keyboard, harp, singing, percussion (dumbek etc.), guitar, garden tours, storytelling, musical balloon chairs, pool, caricature drawing, motorcycle drooling, door prizes for best costumes, and of course, drinking, barbequing, eating great foods and lots of laughing.
How's that for fun?!!

Please Note: the party is still on and the date is changed (Now 8/21-not 8/28).

We will be hoisting an honorable glass to my best Bodacious Babe Hostess, my mom Cam,

who recently passed away just as summer was beginning.
She'll be there in spirit.
